TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to the Bold Merch website terms and conditions. Please read through them carefully before placing your order. By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

 

Please also read our Privacy Statement regarding personal information provided by you. Before placing an order, if you have any queries relating to these terms and conditions, please email our customer service team at boldmerchuk.com We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

AGREEMENT

These conditions govern all contracts of the sale of printed goods (hereafter referred to as ‘the goods’) and services between Bold Merch (hereafter referred to as ‘the Company’ and any Customer (hereafter referred to as ‘the Customer’) of the goods and/or services. These terms can only be varied with the written consent of the Company.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS
Full payment is required to start an order (non-refundable).  We accept payments via bank transfer.

Quotes and invoices are valid for 14 days.

Orders over £500 we require a deposit of half and final payment must be made before shipment can commence. Orders will not be released until the full payment has cleared. If a purchasing party takes possession of their order prior to paying their invoice in full, they will be given a courtesy call and email to remind them to process their full invoice. 

The Company reserves the right to vary the price of the goods and other services from time to time. All prices for goods are quoted exclusive of taxes and duty unless otherwise stated. The Customer accepts that the goods will be invoiced at the price ruling at the date of dispatch (unless otherwise stated on the Company’s quotation).

TURNAROUND TIME

Once payment has been received and artwork is approved, our turnaround time is approximately;

5 - 7 business days

and

8 -10 days for bulk orders 100+

Please submit these requirements at least 7 business days prior to your deadline. If we do not receive these requirements within the time frame, your order is subject to be delayed.

Requirements:
- Finalized Artwork
- Finalized Garment Selection (style, quantity, size, and colours)
- Payment

Customer responsibility: Throughout the process of an order, various issues can pop up regarding the artwork or garments that you will need to address. (For example: if a certain garment colour is out of stock, we would contact you and ask for an alternative option.) If we do not hear from you and do not resolve these issues in a timely manner, the turnaround time can be subject to delays.

In cases where our distributors have back ordered or discontinued certain garments, we can offer substitute garments for the out of stock items, or we can wait until the stock is replenished. Please keep in mind that turnaround time may be affected, resulting in delays.

ARTWORK

All artwork is to be approved via a digital mock-up through email. Artwork must be checked for spelling, colour, sizes ordered, placement of the art and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mock-up, as this is how your garments will print. Bold Merch will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval.

Digital Mock-ups are computer generated pieces of art designed to emulate how a customer’s print might look on the selected garment. These Digital Mock-ups are not exact representations of how a customer’s print will look when received, nor are they an exact representation of the customer’s blank, it is a guide. Bold Merch is not responsible for any misunderstanding regarding Digital Mock-ups. 


Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the mock-up could result in production delays.

VINYL

We use vinyl to create your design and we have over 80 colours to choose from. We use a colour reader programme to get the correct colour match in your design. High sheen, textured or metallic surfaces can affect colour accuracy and due to variances in display calibrations, actual colours may vary from those on screen. So we match according to the undertone, which is the best integration from your digital design into print. 

GARMENTS

Choosing the garment is the customer’s responsibility. We cannot guarantee that the customer will like the garment they have chosen, but will guarantee the we have sourced the highest quality and used our best quality print. Customers are expected to do their own research (we can provide you with the resources) on garments in regards to size, colour, and style. If we do not stock a particular item, you may purchase a sample and have it shipped to our warehouse.

SAMPLES

We can print samples. Sampling is a great way to understand how your design will look in the flesh, and it’s a brilliant way to create content that will help promote your campaign.

 

We offer ONE preliminary sample per client and our standard delivery charge £3.99 applies for all sample orders

Refunds will not be accepted in any case with sample orders. The purchase of a sample is to inspect the product before committing to a larger, more expensive order.

DELIVERY

Please note that we can not accept responsibility for any failure on the part of any courier or delivery service used to deliver goods, nor can we accept any consequential loss incurred by the customer by any action or inaction on the part of Bold Merch or any agent acting on behalf of BAM Productions.

Your package will be sent with Royal Mail 2nd Class or DPD depending on how much it weighs. We send your package using a tracked service and will update you with your tracking number.

When filling in your address please check it is correct, as it is automatically uploaded and printed. We do not take any responsibility for lost items due to an incorrect address listing.

Please note COVID is currently having an effect on delivery times, customers may experience slightly longer delivery timescales than usual service standards.

RUSH ORDERS

We do not be accept rush orders. If you need a quick turnaround unfortunately we cannot help you with that.

Our average turnaround time is from 8 days and are shown in working days which does not include weekends or public holidays.

RETURNS REFUNDS
Refunds will not be accepted in any case where the product is defective through a fault of the customer. As the products we are supplying are customised, we cannot accept any returns on printed clothing unless it is a fault on behalf of Bold Merch.

Refunds will not be accepted in any case with sample orders. The purchase of a sample is to inspect the product before committing to a larger, more expensive order.

A refund will be offered only when an order is cancelled prior to any digital or physical work being undertaken. If you need to cancel an order you should contact us as soon as possible. Due to the short turnaround times we try to work to, your order may have already gone into art working or production. In the event your order is already in art working or production when you wish to cancel, a cancellation fee will apply.

In the event of an order cancellation or request for a refund, a processing fee will be charged to cover administrative costs. The refund processing fee is 4% of the total transaction amount. This fee will be deducted from the total refund amount and the remaining balance will be processed and returned via the original payment method or bank transfer, as agreed with the customer. 

 

If we agree to alter your order you must send it back within 7 days to our return address, we will not accept anything after that time.

Please note it is your responsibility to ensure the items reach us, so we recommend using a signed tracked service when posting. We will contact you when we have received your package.  We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or undelivered.

CLAIMS & REPRINTS

We go to great lengths to try to ensure that every order that leaves our facility is correct. All of our customers are valued customers, regardless of size, and we want you all to know that. Any order printed differently (a different design) than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of date of delivery. Please email us at boldmerch@gmail.com to submit your claim.

 

If Bold Merch is responsible for any errors in your order, we will gladly accept responsibility for the issues and will reprint the garments printed in error (order must be paid in full). We do not offer refunds. We will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate stated in these Terms.

We will require that you ship or return the misprinted shirts to the address stated in these Terms. Bold Merch will not be responsible for any shirts worn, sold or given away prior to returning the order. We will need 5 business days to review your claim and will reproduce & deliver the approved reprints within 15 business days.

SENDING TO US

You can send your items to us to have it printed. 

Please note it is your responsibility to ensure the items reach us, so we recommend using a signed tracked service when posting, we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or undelivered. 

 

We will contact you when we have received your package.

There is a standard delivery charge £8.79 that applies for all orders.

LOGO DESIGN

If you are unhappy with the first draft logo concepts and think there is no way in which we can work together then we do offer a full refund. If you have proceed to make any revisions to the first draft logo concepts then refunds are strictly not issued beyond this stage. It is extremely rare that we have to issues refunds as our process is designed so that we fully understand your requirements before we begin any work. Only logo orders are eligible to refunds as per these terms, not any other design work.

We endeavour to turnaround first draft logo designs within the agreed timescale for the package purchased and we endeavour to turnaround all design revisions within a week.

The prices are based on volume business and therefore there may occasionally be small delays in the turnaround. Whilst every effort is made to ensure there are no delays, it is your responsibility to contact us in the event that designs have not been received within the agreed timescales.

Feedback provided in relation to the design must be clear and constructive. Any phone calls or live messenger chats must be followed by an email clearly outlining the required changes. Design amends will only begin when this email has been received.

We reserve the right to charge extra where:
The brief changes substantially from the original, and these changes are requested after you receive the initial designs. This includes but is not limited to: change of name, change of logo style and colour scheme, and/or requesting a complete new set of designs based on new feedback.

You request to finalise more than one design.

We are happy to do this for you. We will charge £20 for each additional concept supplied to you in multiple formats.

COPYRIGHT
When placing an order with us, the customer accepts sole responsibility for copyright and the reproduction of images.
It is deemed you are the owner / have permission to reproduce artwork files. 
 
OFFENSIVE MATERIAL
We may refuse to produce merchandise & print if the images or content is deemed to be offensive or may incite hatred.
 
In making an order you are deemed to have accepted the above terms and conditions.

PRIVACY POLICY

This website is operated by Bold Merch, and this privacy policy applies to this website only.

We respect our customers privacy so we've instituted policies intended to ensure that your personal information is handled safely and responsibly.

We comply with the GDPR and any data held by us is held on the following basis provided in the GDPR, Legitimate Interest or Contract and is only such data – typically name, email, phone number and address – necessary for us to deliver or contact you. If you have any issues or object to us holding your data and would like us to delete it please email.

We take your privacy very seriously and will NOT sell or make your personal information available to any third parties.
